Robert D. Keene Sr. is the founding pastor
of Faith Power & Deliverance Center.
Born on October 7, 1967, he is one of seven children,
the youngest son. He is a loving and caring family
man, dedicated to his wife, Lady Cheryl Keene,
and their two children, Raeven, and Robert Jr.
Pastor Keene was called to the ministry in 1997,
after the Lord saved him from a life of drugs, crime,
and the prospect of life in prison. Since then,
he has been evangelizing and preaching
the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Connecticut and
along the East Coast. |
From 1998 to 2003, he served as Volunteer Chaplain and held church services at the
Connecticut Valley Hospital, a drug rehabilitation facility for men and women. At his
home church, Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church in New Haven, he served on
the ministerial staff, and led the Men's Ministry as president for six years.
After much prayer, and God's leading, Pastor Keene answered the call to the divine office,
of pastor, and opened the doors to Faith Power & Deliverance Center in July 2006. With
a genuine love for the people, and a powerful "out-of-the-box" style of ministry, he aims to
reach a harvest of new believers with a fresh vision of restoration, transformation,
empowerment, and reconnection of souls to Christ. His calling card can be found
in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Pastor Keene currently sits on the Advisory Board of Roger Sherman Transitional House
for men, and is founder/owner of a successful construction company, and real estate
business. Keene's Home Improvement, based in New Haven, Connecticut, has been
in business for 9 years, and lists such prominent New Haven agencies as
Empower New Haven, Beulah Land Development Corporation, and Neighborhood
Housing Services as clientele. C&R Properties has also been serving the Greater
New Haven area for 9 years, with residential and commercial real estate needs. |
